We have an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Livingston on a Monday to Friday day shift role (8am-4pm). In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and compliance of our facility’s electrical and mechanical systems, enhancing operational effectiveness, and supporting maintenance and improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To):
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Perform PPM tasks according to established schedules, ensuring operational effectiveness and system reliability.
- Facilities Maintenance Management: Manage monthly asset maintenance and calibration schedule via Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Management System BMRAMS.
- Electrical and Mechanical Management: Close out all facility electrical and mechanical defects and improvements in accordance with our asset management system (BMRAM).
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
- RO and UP Water Systems: Ensure the reliability and compliance of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrapure (UP) water systems within the facility.
- Contractor Management: Lead and support contractor control, sponsoring specific electrical and mechanical works for both maintenance and construction projects.
- Portable Appliance Testing: Conduct all site portable appliance testing and maintain the associated register.
- Capex Support: Support facility-type capital expenditure (Capex) works and improvement plans focused on financial and compliance objectives.
Required Who you are:
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Experience in troubleshooting and managing facility maintenance.
- Experience with Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrapure (UP) water systems.
