Your Role
As Quality Assurance Specialist you are responsible for promoting and integrating quality into every aspect of our business and ensuring that we are operating in full compliance with sound scientific practice, GxP and standard operating procedures. You will report to the Quality Supervisor and will perform the review / approval of GxP documents. You will conduct Data Audits in compliance with the Quality Management System, GMP or GLP Regulatory Standards, in line with relevant Standard Operating Procedure (SOP's) and customer specification and constantly work within Operational departments to reduce the risk of quality findings. In addition, you will support our Stirling or Edinburgh sites as required.
Who You Are
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant Scientific area.
- You will be highly motivated, self-starter demonstrating ability to use initiative with respect to scheduled work activities.
- You have excellent attention to detail, communication skills and are an effective teammate, working in a fast paced and changing environment.
- You have the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload to ensure all deadlines are met or exceeded.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience of working within a laboratory environment.
- Previous experience working within quality driven systems and / or a regulated environment (GLP/GMP).
- Experience with interacting with clients.
