As our Lung & GI Oncology Therapy Lead (OTL), you’ll be able to drive clinical belief, system readiness, and diagnosis & treatment rate via the local and regional plan at a trust level across the North East England region. Key accounts include Newcastle, Leeds, South Tees & South Tyneside. You’ll understand the Oncology Business Aspiration and partner with key accounts and the wider health economy to deliver on the lung strategy to ensure all appropriate patients gain appropriate treatment options. You’ll need a growth mindset and be motivated to continuously learn and adapt. You’ll have advanced account management skills, be able to develop strategic plans, and build long-term relationships with our customers, always acting with courage, integrity, and ethics in all interactions.
In this role you will:
- Develop clear customer and account strategies based on insights.
- Set customer behavioral and account objectives to drive customer change.
- Identify and understand customers & stakeholders in the healthcare environment.
- Identify collaborative opportunities within key accounts to increase patient treatment options.
- Provide accurate local intelligence and feedback to inform internal stakeholders and support plans.
- Understand the clinical and treatment protocols to support patient identification, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Leverage cross-functional ONECOLOGY team for best practice sharing and expertise.
- Coordinate internal functions to support access to our portfolio within key accounts.
Requirements And Competencies:
- Preferred BSc degree or equivalent experience.
- Oncology experience is preferred.
- Experience in a hospital selling environment.
- Understanding of local healthcare and reimbursement systems.
- Ability to manage key external stakeholders and influence without authority.
- Strong problem-solving, project planning, teamwork, and communication skills.
