Your Role: We are seeking an on-site IT Desktop Technician to join our team in Gillingham, Dorset to provide 1st and 2nd level IT support. Responsibilities include:
- Offering day-to-day IT assistance to local and remote users through various channels.
- Managing the installation and configuration of end-user equipment.
- Coordinating image builds with IT teams.
- Installing new hardware and software.
- Maintaining accurate asset records.
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Participating in IT asset and license management.
- Handling vulnerability management tasks.
- Communicating with end users regarding outages and service updates.
This position is a job share role, requiring 17.5 hours per week.
Who You Are: Relevant IT qualification at A level/equivalent or above. Previous relevant IT experience is preferred although training will be provided. Knowledge of Windows hardware and software support is preferred. Strong administration skills. Knowledge of MS Office365, Outlook, and other standard office applications. Positive person with a can-do attitude. Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
