Your Role
- Working as a Scientist in our R&D department you will be responsible for driving the development of novel optical films and components for advanced display devices.
- Implement and develop solutions to solve complex optical technical problems.
- Ensure planned work is carried out according to project deadlines whilst following Health and Safety requirements and taking responsibility for safe use of equipment and the lab environment.
- Additional responsibilities include customer interactions, developing IP portfolio and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and roadmaps.
Who You Are
- Must have: BSc, MSc or PhD in Chemistry or Physics (or adjacent relevant subject).
- Computer literate, ideally with proficiency in MS Office/lab software.
- Ability to work well within a local & global team environment, as well as independently.
- Nice To Have:
- Hands-on experience in an R&D lab.
- Knowledge in technical optics.
- Experience in coating Reactive Mesogen solutions.
- Ability to optimise existing products in terms of performance, manufacturability and cost.
