Your Role

  • Working as a Scientist in our R&D department you will be responsible for driving the development of novel optical films and components for advanced display devices.
  • Implement and develop solutions to solve complex optical technical problems.
  • Ensure planned work is carried out according to project deadlines whilst following Health and Safety requirements and taking responsibility for safe use of equipment and the lab environment.
  • Additional responsibilities include customer interactions, developing IP portfolio and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and roadmaps.

Who You Are

  • Must have: BSc, MSc or PhD in Chemistry or Physics (or adjacent relevant subject).
  • Computer literate, ideally with proficiency in MS Office/lab software.
  • Ability to work well within a local & global team environment, as well as independently.
  • Nice To Have:
  • Hands-on experience in an R&D lab.
  • Knowledge in technical optics.
  • Experience in coating Reactive Mesogen solutions.
  • Ability to optimise existing products in terms of performance, manufacturability and cost.
