Our commercial business is evolving to enable us to align the needs of our customers with the commercial opportunities we are working towards within the next 5 years. The Virology Brand & Customer Manager will be a critical component of the Virology cross-functional team focused on shaping prescribing behaviours for the HIV portfolio. Activities will include owning the creation and delivery of operational plans and activities aligned to portfolio strategy, with the aim of delivering value and driving desired behavioural changes across all relevant external stakeholder groups, in turn delivering the best possible outcomes for our patients, our customers and our business.

Activities and Priorities:

  • Activities and priorities are developed on a quarterly basis to allow us greater flexible delivery on our business objectives.
  • This offers our marketing team more opportunity to gain experience across the Pharmaceuticals Business unit.
  • The LROP period includes maximising our in-market brand opportunities as well as planning and executing launch for 3 new products which will be achieved with the following:
  • Collaborate and align closely with core cross-functional colleagues, including Brand Lead for Anti-Viral's.
  • Lead responsibility of marketing-led campaigns, ensuring delivery against strong KPIs and review of performance and alignment to Strategy.
  • Close working with Business Insights and data dashboards to ensure data driven decisions.
  • Core contributor to our strategic planning process to develop a segmented customer engagement approach, specific customer journeys and engagement plans, and personalisation of content and messaging to drive behaviour change with key customer groups.
  • Build relationships with global/regional/local internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Alongside National Sales Manager ensure field execution aligns to strategy.
  • Work with and deliver against promotional budgets.

  • Ability to generate and analyse fast feedback and customer insights to better understand the value we can deliver to our HCP, patient and population communities.
  • Application of strategic thinking and planning frameworks to build and deploy operational plans.
  • Understanding and application of test and learn approaches in the development and refining of materials that drive behaviour change and deliver return on investment.
  • Utilizes knowledge of internal and external business challenges to enhance products, processes, or services.
  • Solves complex problems by offering new perspectives and leveraging existing solutions.
  • Able to effectively communicate with key internal and external stakeholders via multiple channels.
  • Applies knowledge of business challenges to inform recommendations for improvements in products, processes, or services aligned to both Brand and Pharma BU priorities.
  • Understands and integrates regulatory and compliance requirements pertinent to their role.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Degree level
  • Proven Marketing experience ideally in Pharmaceuticals
  • Product launch experience desirable but not essential
