We are looking for a commercially minded performance and go-to-market marketing lead to support our brand visibility, fundraising momentum and deal deployment activity. This is a hybrid role combining advanced marketing analytics, technical stack experience and advanced content strategy to accelerate our growth across private markets, with particular focus on Mercia Ventures.
You will operate at the intersection of capital raising, brand positioning and investment deployment using data and content to drive action from shareholders, institutional investors, advisers and founders. You will not just optimise campaigns; you will also engineer the go-to-market engine behind them.
What you will be doing
- You will play a leading role in the execution of Mercia Ventures go-to-market plans, while supporting the design and delivery of performance-led strategies to drive brand awareness, institutional investor engagement and pipeline conversion across asset classes.
- You will own our full marketing tech stack and optimise end-to-end workflows across CRM (HubSpot), automation, analytics (GA4), attribution and email performance.
- In addition, you will implement intelligent, content-driven funnels to support fundraising cycles and deal origination ensuring our marketing activity aligns with business goals.
- Develop rigorous attribution models to track and evidence marketing influence on AuM growth, deal flow and investor touchpoints.
What you will bring
- 5+ years in performance or growth marketing, ideally within financial services, asset management or B2B SaaS with complex buying cycles.
- Deep knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, analytics and attribution.
- Confidence working with complex audience journeys, especially across investor types, financial intermediaries and founders and management teams of SMEs.
- A sharp content brain, able to connect story, structure and distribution to drive measurable outcomes.
- Experience working in a compliance-heavy or regulated environment and still finding smart ways to move the needle.
- A proactive mindset to spot opportunities, engineer experiments and scale what works.
