About the Organisation

They are changing how mental health provision looks within our communities. Last year, they introduced a new model of support which sees Norfolk and Waveney Mind have a presence on the high street with the new community wellbeing hubs. This new network of mental health support, information and advice has been designed to provide people with accessible mental health support and information close to their communities and homes. In February 2022, they opened the first community wellbeing hub in Norwich called REST at Churchman House. Our REST hubs are safe, welcoming, non-clinical spaces in which people experiencing mental distress or crisis can receive the support and information they need. Following the success of REST Norwich, they have now opened similar hubs in Thetford, Aylsham and King’s Lynn, with new hubs in Great Yarmouth and North Walsham to follow soon.
