Role:
If you love gardens, then you’ll know they need a lot of care and attention. Volunteer gardeners do practical work to help keep the gardens and parkland at Sheringham Park in peak condition and looking eye catching.
You will be helping the gardening and estate team with everyday practical tasks to keep the garden looking its best.
Being a friendly face for visitors and answering any questions.
Helping with projects like new planting, clearing overgrown areas and other seasonal tasks.
You are important in making sure things run as smoothly as safely as possible– this includes getting to know health and safety and evacuation procedures
There might occasionally be some other activities that are of interest to you, that we could use your help with.
Being part of a team that may need to adapt to changing circumstances.
Time commitment:
Volunteering hours vary depending on the role and our opening times. We aim to be as flexible as possible and can discuss more with those interested in the role.
