We are looking for volunteers to help out with the running of the Cameo cafe, including the preparation and serving of a hot lunch. The meals are pre-prepared, so only need to be reheated prior to serving. A Food Hygiene Certificate is a requirement.

We are looking for people who would be willing to supervise the running of the cafe on some occasions, including opening and closing the Centre.

Time commitment: The cafe runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10am until 3pm. Approximately 30 minutes is required either side of those hours to assist with setting up and clearing away.

About the organisation: Cameo Cafe meets at Furze Hill Resource Centre in North Walsham. It is somewhere that people living with dementia can laugh, relax, have fun and share experiences. Activities range from reminiscence, music, gentle exercise to a quiet jigsaw or board games.
