We are seeking a talented Employee Benefits Consultant to manage and develop a portfolio of Group Risk and Healthcare clients. You will be focused on ensuring clients feel supported at all times, providing advice and recommendations that meet client requirements. Through strong client relationships and business development you will identify new opportunities and promote the wider Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) proposition to maximise opportunities and achieve growth targets.

Based in either Bristol, Bournemouth, Chichester or Birmingham this is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage existing Group Risk and Healthcare client portfolio providing strategic/quality consulting advice and direction
  • Identify new opportunities and promote the wider Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) proposition to maximise revenues and achieve growth targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Provide accurate reports containing renewal information, market review results and recommendations
  • Liaise with internal departments and insurers to ensure clients receive an excellent service throughout
  • Promote and deliver high quality service and advice

What you need to have:

  • Proven experience in Group Risk Consulting with a desire to provide exceptional customer service
  • Healthcare Consulting experience with IF7 preferred but not essential.
  • Adept at identifying business needs and aligning products to provide strategic solutions for clients
  • Self-driven and motivated with a confident and approachable style
  • Positive can-do attitude, who is happy to travel and enjoys meeting new people

What makes you stand out?

  • Proven track record of client retention and business development in Group Risk
  • Ideally GR1 qualified but not essential
  • Healthcare Consulting experience with IF7 preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of employee benefit platforms would be an advantage
