We are seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare & Protection Consultant to join our Corporate consulting team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. The role can be based out of London, Chichester or Bristol, with an expectation that the successful candidate would be out visiting and meeting with clients around three days per week.
As a Healthcare & Protection Consultant you will maintain and develop a portfolio of Corporate Healthcare and Protection clients by providing quality consulting advice and ongoing service.
Responsibilities- Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and to expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate.
- Manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business.
- Work collaboratively and pro-actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans.
- Identify business opportunities from your client portfolio and your own network.
- Provide a service compliant with all procedures and Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA.
- Work with your assigned support team to ensure the delivery of services to each client in line with Mercer standards.
- Financial and Commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills).
- Good organisational skills.
- Previous Healthcare and/or Protection related experience.
- Proven consulting and relationship management skills.
- Good technical, product and process knowledge.
- Good inter-personal, communication and time management skills.
- In-depth Healthcare and Protection knowledge.
- Experience or knowledge of working with benefits platforms.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A natural desire to provide exceptional customer service.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and key themes affecting clients.
