About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced aerodynamicist to join our Team, working on innovative non-F1 projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Working as part of a small aerodynamics group, you’ll be involved in developing aerodynamic concepts and engineering solutions for non‑F1 vehicles.
- Advancing our understanding of flow physics and complex flow structures.
- Surfacing, meshing and post‑processing your ideas using in‑house CAD / CFD tools and workflows.
- Enhancing the tools capabilities used by you and your colleagues.
- Analysing real‑world data and correlating it with design predictions.
- Assisting with additional tasks and to the broader non‑F1 objectives.

Candidate Profile: We’re looking for engineers who have experience in flow physics, gained by working in a relevant industry, for example: aerospace, road vehicles, motorsport or other engineering sectors where aerodynamics or flow physics plays a key role. You bring one or more of the following strengths developed in a professional setting:
- Creating and improving aerodynamic designs, developing capability or deepening technical understanding.
- Experience with CFD, wind‑tunnels or real‑world testing.
You may also have:
- Knowledge of fluid‑structure interactions, or aero‑thermal modelling.
- Abilities in analysing real‑world data and correlating it with design tools.
You have a good foundation in relevant theory, for example through training and experience in a professional setting, or through a degree such as Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent subject. With an open and honest communication style and broad overview of your subject, you relish collaborating in a team setting and enjoy discussing technical concepts. You are equally comfortable working on your own, applying your reflective nature, interpretive skills, attention to detail and dependable judgment to understand complicated problems then propose and evaluate quality solutions in a timely fashion. Looking to fulfil your potential, you are keen to develop yourself further in a demanding role, excited about constantly learning while fostering the understanding of others. While experience of working in a high‑performance environment such as motorsport would be beneficial, we are more focussed on your potential to deliver at the highest level, applying your skills and understanding to practical data problems.
