An opportunity has arisen to join us as a Sales Executive at our Salisbury dealership. Applicants will need to have a passion for sales and excellent face-to-face customer care skills. We are looking for candidates who are currently top performers and candidates will be expected to discuss and demonstrate at interview your ability in this area.
Duties will include:
- Assisting customers in finding their desired vehicle via the Mercedes-Benz online showroom
- Contacting interested parties and customers by telephone and in writing to generate Sales Leads
- Conducting face-to-face meetings and presenting the Mercedes-Benz range
- Informing and advising visitors on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, equipment, prices, conditions, technical data and other information
- Evaluating used cars and conducting appraisals of customers' vehicles
- Assessing the condition of Trade Ins and ensuring all defects/damage reported and recorded prior to a Part Exchange price being agreed
- Organising and carrying out test-drives and evaluate results
- Involvement in sales events
- Guaranteeing professional level of product presentation (price marking, accessibility, cleanliness, etc)
Exceptional customer service skills are essential as is a proactive approach and determination to sell cars. Successful candidates will currently be working in sales in the motor trade. Applicants will be expected to be immaculately attired as is befitting the Mercedes brand, must hold a full driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.
The showroom is open from 8:00 Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 Saturday and 10:00 to 16:00 Sunday. Weekend work on a rota basis will be required; however, a 5-day week will be worked, totalling 41 hours per week.
