An opportunity has arisen to join us as a Driver / Site Assistant at our workshop in Farnborough. The main purpose of this role is to maintain and clean the site and assist with the collection and delivery of service/repairs vehicles as a flexible driver. The split of responsibilities will be 40% cleaning and maintenance, 60% driving.
Key Accountabilities:
- Washing and hoovering of vehicles
- General site cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Cleaning of the workshop, refreshments area
- Work with a small team of drivers to collect/deliver vehicles
- Follow route and timed schedule deliveries
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow Department Of Transport regulations and safety standards
- Moving vehicles around car park to ensure customers are able to park easily
- Locating vehicles and keys to support workshop efficiency
- Offer a strong customer focus
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
- You will diligently carry out such duties to the best of your ability
- Strict adherence to all company policy and procedural matters
- To maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times
Skills Required:
- Driving licence required
- Experience in a customer facing role with a strong customer focus
- Team player and self-motivated
- Full Driving licence
- Responsible and friendly
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Well Presented
- Flexible as we may require small amounts of overtime subject to requirements
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday: 08.00 - 18.00 (one hour unpaid break). Total of 45 hours per week. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to work extra hours.
