We're looking for someone self-motivated and commercially astute, able to think strategically and thrive in complex, fast-moving environments. A professional accounting qualification and relevant experience are essential to provide credible financial insight and direction. In this role you'll manage the Mercedes-Benz Cars New Car Sales Controlling team, including both operational and developmental line management responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the New Car Controlling team, setting clear objectives, balancing workloads and providing coaching and direction to deliver high performance.
- Own and optimise New Car sales profitability, delivering clear analysis and governance across discounts, performance vs plan, and the financial approval of business proposals in line with KPIs and authority frameworks.
- Take full ownership of Mercedes-Benz New Car financial reporting, ensuring accurate, on-time actuals, plans and forecasts with clear variance insight for MBUK and MBAG stakeholders.
- Lead the annual plan (MBBP) and monthly forecast cycles, delivering robust submissions and meaningful commentary to support financial steering.
- Drive transparency and control across variable costs, ensuring accurate accounting, effective tracking and alignment to budget.
- Champion strong governance and continuous improvement, overseeing ICS controls, identifying financial risks and implementing effective solutions.
