How you’ll play your part
We’re looking for someone driven and collaborative, who has a track record of driving excellent employee and customer satisfaction and has solid people and line management experience in the FM Industry to join our Corporate Real Estate Team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of Facilities Management services across Mercedes‑Benz Head Office in Milton Keynes and our Brand Centre, Mercedes‑Benz World in Weybridge, ensuring the delivery of best‑value, high‑performance operations. Travel is a requirement for this role, along with a flexible approach to working patterns to support the needs of both locations.
You’ll shape and lead strategies that provide industry‑leading FM services across both locations, maintaining a stable cost base enabling the business to focus on achieving its core objectives and exceptional standards expected of a premium global brand.
What you’ll do:
- Lead end‑to‑end FM operations across Mercedes‑Benz UK Head Office and Mercedes‑Benz World, delivering best‑value performance.
- Act as the FM subject matter expert, driving tenders, contracts, small work projects, supporting sustainability, and reporting. Collaborating with key stakeholders including intercompany tenants.
- Lead in critical situations, managing emergencies, business continuity, and out‑of‑hours issues as part of the Emergency Committee supporting the Head of Corporate Real Estate.
- Manage the third‑party CRE Facilities & Site Services team, ensuring industry‑leading service standards.
- Own service performance and contracts, driving KPIs and challenging suppliers to meet Mercedes‑Benz standards.
- Support FM budget planning and management, delivering accurate forecasts, cost control, and clear financial reporting.
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant qualification or equivalent professional experience in FM.
- Proven leader of internal and outsourced teams in a premium, customer‑facing environment.
- Strong capability in KPI delivery, contract, and tenant management.
- Commercially minded, with experience in budget planning and accruals.
- Calm under pressure, with effective crisis and risk management skills.
- A decisive problem‑solver with sound judgement.
- Professional, conscientious, and credible, comfortable supporting high‑profile brands.
- IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum.
