About the Role:
Mercedes-Benz has been setting the standard in racing for over 100 years, and the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team continues the proud history of the legendary Silver Arrows. We have an exciting opportunity at our Championship winning team based at our incredible Heritage site. As an integral part of a small team, this role is a fundamental pillar to preserving the history of this incredible era.
A vacancy has arisen for a Heritage Operations Build and Parts Coordinator, reporting to the Heritage No.1 Mechanic.
Key Accountabilities (Duties):

Organisation and control of all Mercedes AMG F1 Heritage and Demo cars

Responsible for the SAP lifing of all components on site and at events
-
Maintaining all computer databases in line with Heritage and FIA requirements

Assembly of on car spares for Heritage events

Trackside event support when required

Car build project management
-
Lead for factory requirements
-
Responsible for car part storage and presentation at the Heritage site

Establish safeguards and robust measures to aid with department growth

Work with No.1 Mechanic on event importation and logistics

Ensure parts are managed effectively with a clear booking-in and booking-out process with audit trails to support movement of stock.

Improve processes for segregation of stock into heritage, memorabilia or scrap.

Previous experience of working with car parts and logging systems. Preferably SAP.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
