About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Finance Transformation & Process Improvement Lead to join our Finance Transformation Team as we continue our journey to a World Class Finance function. In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives to enhance systems, streamline processes, and harness emerging technologies to ensure the highest standards of data quality and financial insight. You will be directly contributing to both financial reporting efficiencies and competitive performance on the track.
This is a key role within the team, sitting at the interface between Finance and IT. You will play a central role in driving change, delivering innovative solutions, and empowering the finance team to operate with greater accuracy and agility to meet the business needs.
Reporting to the Finance Transformation Director, you will help ensure the finance function remains at the forefront of technology aligning with the long-term strategic vision of the team.
Job duties / responsibilities:

Support and deliver the finance transformation strategy and roadmap

Assess and document current-state financial processes and identify opportunities for standardisation, automation, and efficiency

Responsible for ensuring data quality is improved and maintained to enable transformation initiatives

Drive strategic initiatives that improve financial performance and allow the finance team to support business decisions

Oversee the implementation and optimisation of SAP products and initiatives
-
Working closely with the Finance AI specialist to ensure priorities and solutions align

Serve as a change champion, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across finance team

Develop and deliver communication and training plans to support adoption of new tools, systems, and processes.

Regularly report transformation milestones, risks, and benefits realisation to Finance leadership

Collaborate with finance teams to identify opportunities within functions such as FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Accounting and Transactions

Build strong relationships between Finance and IT, aligning key priorities and ensuring project requirements are met and understood

Establish governance structures and KPIs to monitor transformation progress

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and system solutions

Manage the Finance Transformation Business Partner and Business Intelligence Analyst roles
Qualifications

Qualified Accountant
-
Significant experience in Finance roles with breadth of knowledge including finance systems

Competent in field of technology and implementation of change

SAP experience (including change/implementation projects)

Strong capability in project leadership including planning, governance, and delivery of multi-phase transformation programs

Advanced excel and good understanding of data/reporting and interfaces between systems

An effective communicator with the ability to translate varied requirements and demands into optimised solutions and playback key wins to senior leaders

Ability to identify innovative yet practical solutions to complex problems and get buy in from key personnel

Ensures tasks are seen through to successful delivery
