Work using initiative, with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of the discipline, to support with the design and development of test cell facilities, manufacturing facilities and building services infrastructure across the Brixworth site.

Technically own, monitor and manage our electrical distribution network and electrical infrastructure.
Develop strong working relationships with all departments and customers, and, where responsibility for maintaining or installing new electrical & controls infrastructure affects their operations to ensure this causes minimal disruption to the business core activities.
Manage full successful project handover ensuring all O&M, safety and statutory compliance documentation is delivered.
Provide comprehensive technical support to the Electrical Duty Holder to ensure we have an effective Electrical Safe System of Work at HPP.
Support compliance with ISO50001: Energy management standard and technically support all requirements of the standard, including identifying and delivering energy saving and efficiency projects, providing energy reports and predicting energy consumption.
Work towards and achieve HV AP (High Voltage Authorised Person) switching engineer status at this facility, responsible for the building services high voltage infrastructure.
Co-ordinate and manage planned preventative and reactive maintenance requirements for all HV/LV switch gear and HV/LV transformers and support fixed wire testing program.
Technically own, monitor, manage and enhance the various software packages under the responsibility of the facilities engineering team.

Understanding of Plant/Facilities Engineering or in a production, development environment.
Understanding and experience of delivering complex electrical discipline projects.
Hold these qualifications: HNC, HND, bachelor’s degrees or higher in Electrical/Controls Engineering, 18th Edition IET qualification certificate or equivalent, HV AP Certificate that is less than five years from date of issue or working towards.
