About the Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance Operations team, supporting our Travel function. This role reports into the Finance Business Partner for Travel and plays a key part in delivering a high-quality finance service at the heart of Formula One operations.
This is a fast-paced role within our Finance Operations Teams, supporting the financial management of team travel. You\’ll work closely with both teams to ensure costs are managed and reported clearly, while also helping to translate data into meaningful analysis that supports planning, forecasting and decision making across a busy travel calendar.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver accurate month-end accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Own the analysis and coding of travel invoices across multiple cost centres and race events.
- Ensure purchase orders are raised correctly, with accurate cost centre and expense type allocations and supporting documentation where required.
- Develop and maintain robust analysis, insight and reporting for Travel.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles for all Travel-related costs.
- Liaise with key business stakeholders to ensure finance matters are captured and actioned.
- Support the tracking and recharging of 3rd party customer travel costs, including raising sales orders.
- Assist in finance projects, including the optimisation of internal reporting from a Financial Regulations perspective.
What You\’ll Bring:
- ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified.
- Previous experience in a Finance role with strong understanding of journal postings, accruals, and reconciliations.
- High proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is desirable.
- Strong analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- High accuracy and reliability with financial data.
