Senior decision-makers from across the global commercial marine sector come to source and purchase marine equipment, supplies, services, and vessels, all in one place at one time.
This role offers the chance to represent the highly respected & established Seawork while taking real ownership of sales performance and commercial growth.
The role: You will be responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts across the exhibition, sponsorship, and media portfolio. You will manage your own sales territory, working to monthly, quarterly and annual targets through proactive relationship-led account management, and regular engagement with senior stakeholders via outbound phone & video calls, email, LinkedIn and F2F at industry events. The role combines high-volume new business activity with longer-term account development, offering clear accountability, visibility of performance and uncapped earning potential.
Who this role is for: This role is suited to an experienced B2B sales professional who thrives working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and enjoys combining new business development with account growth. What we’re looking for: You will have proven outbound B2B sales experience, confidence engaging senior-level decision-makers, and the ability to manage your own pipeline, territory, and targets effectively. Experience within events, exhibitions, media, or sponsorship-led businesses is highly desirable.
What you’ll be selling: Exhibition space, sponsorship, digital advertising, and marketing solutions as part of integrated commercial packages. This is consultative B2B selling with real, tangible products delivered throughout the year and showcased live at Seawork. Top performers earn £60,000–£70,000+ through uncapped commission.
What success looks like in year one: Success means building a strong pipeline of new and repeat exhibitors, consistently delivering against revenue targets, and developing trusted, long-term relationships with key clients across the commercial marine sector. You will be seen as an owner of your territory, contributing directly to the continued growth and commercial success of Seawork and Mercator.
