\\nPosition Overview\\n
We’re looking for a Principal Experience Designer to join our Visualization Solutions group in Autodesk's AEC platform (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction). The Viewer is the primary surface on which architects, construction project managers, owners and other stakeholders review architectural drawings and 3D models, and perform workflows such as safety workflows, quality workflows, punch walks etc. The Viz Solutions group focuses on enhancing the capabilities of the viewer—navigation tools, measurement tools, and integration with Issues, RFIs, Submittals—to help users perform critical construction and design workflows.

As a Principal UX Designer, you will own and drive workflows built on top of the viewer across web and mobile. Day‑to‑day work will involve a range of tasks from detailed interaction design to cross‑platform workflow design, close partnership with fellow designers, product managers and engineers, mentoring early‑ and mid‑career designers, leading design critiques and more.

You are proactive, navigate ambiguity and a broad problem space to drive results, comfortable tackling complex workflows, and can balance detailed interaction design with a holistic perspective. Experience with design authoring tools is a plus.

This role reports to a UX Manager in the Visualization Solutions org. The location is the UK and can be based predominantly remotely. Close proximity to the engineering teams in Sheffield is a plus.
