We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Community Lead, with a deep connection to the architecture community, who will spearhead our community marketing efforts across the UK and US. You’ll lead a growing team of Community Managers and Program Managers, while directly engaging with the architecture community to spark and amplify conversations about Forma Site Design, Forma Building Design and future offerings. You’ll build a community engine that drives awareness, credibility, and adoption—online and at key industry events. You’ll work closely with Product, Growth, and Content teams to ensure community insights shape our roadmap and messaging. You’ll nurture a team that thrives on ownership and spans the entire role of community marketing: shaping narratives, engaging users, and driving strategy and impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a distributed Community team, fostering a supportive and high-performing culture
- Develop and execute a growth-led community strategy grounded in data, experimentation, and user insights
- Build and scale the Forma content creators program, empowering users to become advocates and content creators
- Spark, participate in, and amplify discussions across LinkedIn, Reddit, Archinect, and associated forums (UK focus)
- Represent Forma at key architecture events and conferences, building relationships and driving engagement
- Ensure cross-organization alignment so that community feedback informs product roadmap decisions
- Stay ahead of trends in community marketing, architecture, and AI to inform strategy and innovation
- Present community impact and strategy to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Deep network and credibility within the architecture community
- Proven experience leading teams, ideally across multiple geographies
- Ownership mindset with the ability to take ideas from concept to execution and drive outcomes across the full community marketing toolkit
- Problem-solving mindset: blockers are easily overcome; able to remove blockers and improve team velocity
- Strong strategic thinking and executional rigor; ability to build and scale programs with measurable impact
- Experience applying AI tools in marketing or community workflows
- Excellent communication skills; natural storyteller and connector; comfortable presenting to leaders and external peers
- Adept at social media and creating engaging content
- Technically proficient with architecture software, Microsoft Office, and tools like Copilot, Slack, Teams, Zoom; quick to learn new tools
- Basic video editing skills
- Willingness to travel for events and team offsites
- Familiarity with Autodesk Forma (especially Forma Site Design) is a plus
