Meraki Talent’s hugely successful global consultancy client is actively looking for a Senior Business Architect (Insurance) to lead and deliver upon several pieces of business-critical work. You will be part of a market leading team, solving our client’s most large scale and business critical assignments. Whether it transformation, organisational design or strategic restructuring, our client is at the forefront of the industry.
As part of this, our client is looking for at least one, perhaps two Senior Business Architects to focus on the insurance industry. These professionals need to be experts in the insurance industry, have a broad understanding of the operational workings of a successful insurance organisation, and be a natural leader. Someone who has technical flair coupled with client relationship management skills, and the ability to see the big picture.
Responsibilities of the Senior Business Architect (Insurance):
- Partner with stakeholders to define business architecture, including capability maps, process models, data flows, and landscapes, specifically on insurance operations
- Analyse existing processes and systems across Underwriting, Policies, Claims etc) to identify areas for improvement with strategic objectives
- Design future-state architectures that leverage emerging tech (Machine Learning, AI etc)
- Develop roadmaps and plans to guide implementation of target business architecture
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure integration of business architecture
Background of the Senior Business Architect (Insurance):
- Extensive experience working within the insurance industry, or a consultancy aligned to insurance (Including London Markets, General and Commercial Insurance, InsurTech etc)
- Experience working as a Business Architect or Senior Operational/Functional expert from the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of Operating Models, Operational Design, and the inner workings of an Insurance business essential (Process, flow, systems, regulations etc)
- Ability to translate business requirements
- An understanding of technology would be really helpful
