Senior Legal Counsel – Employment Law

Location: Glasgow, Manchester or Birmingham.

Hybrid working

A major global financial services organisation is looking for a qualified Employment Solicitor to join its in-house legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal professional to support a wide range of employment law matters within a regulated and fast paced business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advise on both contentious and non contentious employment law matters
  • provide legal support on regulator, immigration and health and safety issues
  • Work closely with HR, compliance and business stakeholders to deliver clear, pragmatic advice
  • Help manage employment related risks and support strategic projects

Ideal candidate:

  • UK qualified solicitor with solid experience in employment law
  • ideally from an in-house role within financial services, or a top tier law firm
  • strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and employment practices
  • Confident communicator with excellent judgement and stakeholder skills
