Senior Fund Accountant – Private Capital Funds
Meraki Talent are proud to be working with a leading Financial Services firm who are investing in the local Glasgow market within an exciting new proposition.
This is an exciting time to join a new function, based in Glasgow to service new and existing private capital clients within a Fund Accounting capacity.
Duties will involve:
- Providing fund valuation and accountancy duties to private capital funds
- Ensuring the regulatory and legal aspects are compliant
- Building lasting relationships with clients and meeting set SLAs
- Preparing and analysing financial statements
- Preparing monthly reconciliations, and assisting with cash reconciliations and fund management
- Preparing for and attending client audit meetings
- Developing relationships with auditors for discussions on year-end processes
Applicants should have a Fund Accounting background with a working knowledge of different fund structures, ideally within Private Capital. Additionally, applicants must have an excellent working knowledge of US GAAP / UK GAAP and IFRS. It is imperative that applicants can multitask and prioritise a demanding client need.
