Meraki Talent’s growing global client is actively looking for a Data Architect to join their growing and evolving team. A newly created role, the Data Architect will be the voice of data for the organisation, championing best process, helping with the strategy and direction of data, personally lead the charge. The Data Architect will be required to establish and drive a culture of data right across the global business, ensuring ownership and governance. Offering the chance for occasional European travel, this is a key role which will involve collaborating with stakeholders at all levels globally to meet the data strategy.
Responsibilities of the Data Architect:
- Develop and manage a corporate and business data management strategy
- Develop and help institute best practice, methodologies and standards with regards to data
- Define the strategic data management direction for each business unit
- Lead the design of data, information, and integration
- Maximise value derived from analytics
- Enable data and analytics governance
Background of the Data Architect:
- An understanding of Architecture and Design principles essential
- Accomplished in data modelling techniques and approaches
- Knowledge of technologies and approaches to integration and analytics
- Experience working in both a project and BAU environment
