Meraki Talent are working with a respected UK law firm to find an experienced IT Support Analyst to join its established technology team in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on IT professional to deliver high-quality support and play an active role in firmwide IT initiatives. Responsibilities of the IT Support Analyst:

  • Deliver second-line support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and core systems, ensuring effective issue resolution for both in-office and remote staff.
  • Build, configure, and manage end-user devices, keeping operating systems and business applications up to date and secure.
  • Take part in deploying new systems and software, assisting with installation, integration, and user readiness.
  • Actively contribute to internal IT projects, offering technical expertise and supporting delivery within deadlines.
  • Help develop internal documentation and guidance to ensure consistent processes and knowledge sharing within the team.

Background of the IT Support Analyst:

  • Proven IT Support experience (2nd Line) in a law firm or wider professional services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows 10, Office suite, Exchange, Active Directory, and mobile device management.
  • Exposure to tools like Citrix, iManage, Mimecast or Workshare is advantageous but not essential.
  • Clear communicator who can work effectively across departments, manage multiple requests, and escalate where needed.
