Meraki Talent are delighted to bring to market a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Accountant to join our UK wide service sector client within their growing FP&A team. This is an exciting time to join the team as they embark on planned growth across current markets, but also venture into new markets.
This is an opportunity that will provide excellent growth potential, within a growing team with high profile at Board level and will suit someone with both a commercial and operational mindset, whilst having a natural flair for developing analysis. You will report to a Senior Manager, with a focus on commercial accounting, FP&A, forecasting, budgeting and modelling.
Key duties of the role include:
- Key role on Budgeting and Forecasting process and delivery
- Financial modelling - develop and improve capability
- Develop understanding of commercial and operational drivers across the business
- Strategic analysis and planning
- Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing
- Management account preparation and producing monthly flash reporting
- Support various projects across the organisation
Experience required:
- ICAS (ACA) or ACCA Qualified or close to qualification with 3 years+ experience in similar role
- Advanced MS Excel and experience of modelling tools and methods
- Good understanding of financial analysis with technical accounting skills
- Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels
