Job Description
Meraki Talent have an outstanding opportunity to recruit a Finance Business Partner for our long-standing client, who are a hugely successful UK wide business. There is an interesting period of change and transformation, which has created this opportunity for someone who possesses strong commercial and operational exposure, with advanced MI and Data skills.
You will report to a Senior Manager, and have scope to cultivate and enhance business relationships across both operational and finance functions. You'll have strong core accounting and reporting experience, but with a focus on providing key financial insights and MI for various products and service lines.
Key duties of the role include:
- Commercially analyse monthly results, highlight and challenge performance, identifying risks and understand financial and business drivers
- Support with business and financial planning
- Review forecasting processes for input to strategic business plans
- Produce key business papers for presentation to Board and Regulators
- Assist the commercial team with financial analysis that supports decision making for product pricing and profitability
- Develop effective relationships with operational and commercial teams, as well as finance teams – Financial Control, FP&A and Treasury
Experience required:
- ICAS (ACA), ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant or with equivalent experience
- Articulate and confident communication to develop key relationships
- Advanced analysis skills, particularly modelling or scenario analysis
- Strong experience in planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Demonstrate a strong control ethos
- Embrace change and process improvement
- Ideally banking or financial services experience, but may consider large corporate company experience.
