Job Description

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a Control Team Lead based in Leeds for a large financial services client with a salary of between £40,000 – £45,000 plus strong benefits including holidays & pension.

The Role

We are looking to appoint a Control Team Lead who will report directly into the Accounts Payable Manager.

The key components of the role will include:

  • Leading a small finance team, overseeing invoice processing, ensuring ledger entries are accurate, and maintaining effective controls across reconciliations.
  • Managing bank, supplier, and inter-company reconciliations, including the use of foreign exchange, and ensuring processes are completed to strict deadlines.
  • Supporting the wider finance function with financial reporting, prepayments, FS postings, and P1 expenses, while maintaining sustainable metrics and enforcing policy compliance.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing clarity on controls, addressing any payables postings issues, and ensuring robust adherence to procedures.
