Accounting and Control Senior

Meraki Talent are delighted to be partnering with our long-standing client to recruit an Accounting & Control Senior who are based in Edinburgh. This is an exciting time to join the business, as experience continued growth and have a number of exciting global projects.

You'll report to the Senior Finance Manager and work with an experienced team of 6, work with autonomy you will be responsible for various activities across the Group Finance team.

Key duties of the role include:

• Support the effective reporting of balance sheet activities
• Balance Sheet substantiation
• General Ledger Control
• Analyse intercompany transactions
• Prepare accurate reporting and reconciliation with a monthly intercompany matrix
• Ensure a strong framework of global controls
• Lead process improvement initiatives relating to intercompany processes and controls

Experience required:

• Ideally qualified (ACCA or CIMA), although consideration will be given to specific core experience in a similar role
• Experience of working with a large, global or multi entity business i.e. shared service environment
• Experience of intercompany accounting and control
• Good communication style to manage and enhance relationships with key financial and operational stakeholders
