Mechanical Fitter – Commercial Projects Pay Rate: Up to £28 per hour (DOE) Job Type: Contract / Temporary / Ongoing About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a growing team working across a range of commercial properties. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on varied projects including maintenance, upgrades, and installations within offices, retail units, and other commercial environments. Key Responsibilities * Carry out mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair work * Work on systems such as pumps, pipework, HVAC components, and plant equipment * Interpret technical drawings and specifications * Assist with plant room installations and refurbishments * Ensure compliance with health & safety standards on site * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently * Work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter (commercial experience preferred) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent) * CSCS Card (preferred or required depending on site) * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Own tools and PPE * Full UK driving licence (desirable) What’s on Offer * Competitive hourly rate up to £28 per hour * Ongoing work with potential extensions * Opportunity to work on diverse commercial projects * Weekly pay * Supportive team and site environment How to Apply If you are a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for your next opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
