We are recruiting an experienced Dual Fuel Engineer to join a growing and well-supported team delivering a mix of domestic and commercial metering work. This role offers a refreshing alternative to high-pressure installation contracts, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and professional standards over volume.
Salary & Package
- £42,000 (within M25)
- £41,000 (outside M25)
- 28 days holiday + bank holidays
- Company pension scheme
- 1 in 5 on-call rota with standby payments
- Company van, fuel card, tools & full PPE provided
- Ongoing training and technical support
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Structured working day with realistic workloads
The Role
As a Dual Fuel Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out dual fuel metering work across domestic and commercial properties
- Completing safe, compliant meter installations and exchanges
- Diagnosing and resolving metering issues where required
- Managing your own workload independently in a structured environment
- Delivering a high standard of customer service on every visit
- Ensuring all work meets current industry regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ experience fitting meters unaccompanied
- Full Dual Fuel qualifications (CCN1 / CMA1 / MET1 or equivalent)
- Valid MOCOPA accreditation
- Strong understanding of gas and electrical safety compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage your own day effectively
- Professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach
