M&E Shift Engineer – Slough – up to £58,000 + benefits

An industry leading M&E service provider are currently hiring for an experienced and motivated shift engineer to work in in a commercial environment.

This Slough based role is offering up to £58,000 per annum plus incentives.

The Role & Responsibilities

  • Continental shifts, rotation of day & night shifts with a fixed pattern of 4 on and 4 off, times may vary.
  • Successful applicants will be prompt in their responsiveness and attentiveness to appliance failures and breakdowns
  • Carrying out PPM accurate to schedules and procedures maintaining engineering standards to maximize operation effectiveness and reliability of electrical systems
  • Clear understanding off plants used, boilers, refrigeration units, AHU, FCU, HVAC
  • Ensuring onsite quality assurance procedures are following accordingly to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with electrical aspects of PPM and plants.
  • Covering call outs for breakdowns and emergencies related to electrical services as required
  • Overtime is highly rewarded and incentivized

  • BTEC / HND / HNC / ONC / Degree
  • Mechanical apprenticeship. 3-4 years either direct with a business or through a college

  • City & guilds or NVQ Heating & Ventilation Level 1-2-3
