Job Overview
MEP Technical Talent are currently recruiting for a number of Electricians to work on the major redevelopment project at Shotton Mill. The role will involve the installation of fire alarm systems across a large-scale industrial construction project. We are looking for electricians with experience of commercial or industrial installations who are comfortable installing containment, cabling and fire alarm equipment.
Duties
- Installation of fire alarm cabling and containment
- Wiring and installation of fire alarm devices
- Reading and working from drawings
- Working at height using MEWPs
- Working alongside other M&E trades on site
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements
- JIB Gold Card
- Valid IPAF Licence (3a & 3b preferred)
- Previous commercial or industrial installation experience
- Experience with fire alarm installations beneficial but not essential
- Own tools and PPE
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
