We are currently recruiting an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the delivery team on the major Brabazon development in Bristol. This is a permanent opportunity working for an established M&E contractor delivering a significant electrical package on one of the largest developments currently underway in the region. The successful candidate will form part of the site-based project team, supporting the delivery and coordination of the electrical building services installation from design and technical coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover. The Role As Electrical Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager, site management, design teams, subcontractors and supply chain to ensure the electrical installation is delivered safely, correctly and in accordance with the project programme. Responsibilities will include: * Supporting the delivery of electrical building services installations across the project * Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications and technical information * Coordinating electrical services with mechanical, architectural and structural elements * Working closely with design teams to resolve technical and installation issues * Managing RFIs, technical submittals and design information * Supporting procurement of electrical equipment and materials * Liaising with specialist subcontractors and suppliers * Monitoring installation progress against the project programme * Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications * Identifying and resolving technical issues on site * Supporting quality assurance and inspection processes * Assisting with commissioning, testing and handover * Ensuring accurate project documentation and records are maintained * Attending design, coordination and project progress meetings * Working closely with the wider M&E project delivery team About You We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with a strong background in Building Services / M&E construction. Ideally you will have: * Previous experience as an Electrical Project Engineer or Electrical Engineer within the M&E contracting sector * Strong knowledge of electrical building services installations * Experience working on large-scale commercial or major construction projects * Good understanding of electrical design, installation and commissioning * Experience reviewing drawings and technical specifications * Strong coordination skills and the ability to work with multiple disciplines * Experience dealing with subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders * Good understanding of project programmes and construction sequencing * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Relevant Electrical or Building Services qualifications
