MEP Technical is working on behalf of an engineering contractor located in North Wales and I have been asked to assist with the recruitment of an experienced document controller to join their team on a permanent basis. The company is a well-established company that provides industrial engineering solutions. The position is available to start ASAP.

Role overview – Document Controller:

  • Responsible for the control, management and distribution of all project documentation in line with ISO 9001
  • Ensure documentation is correctly filed, updated and issued in line with project and company procedures and ISO 9001
  • Maintain accurate document registers and workflows
  • Liaise with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely document control
  • Ensure compliance with ISO quality and audit requirements

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Document Controller role within the engineering related sector or similar
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Fully conversant with Viewpoint for Projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Understanding of ISO standards and procedures

Contract & salary details:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Salary range £28,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience and expertise
