An experienced Electrical Project Manager is required to lead the delivery of a circa £20M electrical package on the Bristol Arena project. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for programme delivery, client management, commercial performance, health & safety, resource planning and project execution from mobilisation through to testing, commissioning and final handover.

The Project Manager will act as the primary interface with YTL and other key project stakeholders while leading a team of approximately 100 site personnel, including six Engineers/Supervisors, Commissioning personnel and specialist subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a £20M electrical package.
  • Act as the principal client interface with YTL and the wider project team.
  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of approximately 6 Engineers and Supervisors.
  • Manage a site workforce of approximately 100 operatives and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain project programmes, manpower forecasts and resource plans.
  • Monitor productivity, progress, programme milestones and commercial performance.
  • Coordinate procurement, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
  • Manage project risks, technical issues and change management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with UK health, safety, quality and statutory requirements.
  • Chair client and progress meetings and produce management reports.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, energisation and project handover activities.
  • Support commercial teams with valuations, variations, cost reporting and forecasting.
