The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our business in an entry level role where you will work with safety equipment which is used in lifesaving activities such as fall arrest, confined space, gas detection, breathing air, and trailers. You will cover simple test and run of this equipment that does not require any service or repair.
About the Role- Test and run most safety equipment in line with Original Equipment Manufacturer requirements.
- Ability to make assessments whether equipment can be made available for hire in a cost-effective way.
- Able to fleet new equipment and complete Pre-Delivery Inspection on saleable equipment.
- Ability to use internal software to record servicing activity and consumption of spare parts.
- Aware of third-party processes and can identify equipment that cannot be serviced or repaired in-house.
- Ability to make accurate assessments of time required to complete test and run activity.
- Able to accurately record spare parts used in servicing and ensure serviced equipment is in the correct system status.
- When considered necessary or appropriate by the company you may be required to carry out any duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.
- Possess basic understanding of engineering.
- Possess basic numeracy, IT, and literacy skills to fulfil administrative requirements.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Previous experience in basic test and run (preferable).
- Awareness of equipment serviced by ESS (preferable).
