We are now seeking an experienced National Account Manager (Tier 1) to manage and grow our largest and most strategic national customers. This is a high-impact role focused on large, high-value, complex accounts, driving consistent national delivery, strong profitability and long-term strategic partnerships.

You will work closely with the Major Account Management Team, senior stakeholders and operational leaders to ensure a joined-up, one-team approach across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow Major accounts in the Specialist market sector, delivering year-on-year revenue and profit growth.
  • Develop and execute national account strategies and growth plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the Major Account Management Team to ensure a consistent national approach.
  • Understand customer requirements and the competitive landscape to position relevant solutions effectively.
  • Lead on bids, tenders and PQQ submissions for national customers.
  • Undertake root-cause analysis for customer issues and implement preventative actions.
  • Actively model and drive a one-team culture across sales and operations.
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Attend industry events and forums to network and identify new major account opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM data for all national accounts.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to present robust commercial cases to senior stakeholders.

  • Proven experience managing complex, high-value contracts.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Desirable: Experience within tool hire, plant hire or construction services.
