As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, youll deliver high-quality technical solutions on projects for both public and private sector clients across sectors such as education, healthcare, defence, pharmaceutical, and commercial. Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of electrical building services designs across a varied project portfolio
Prepare designs, feasibility studies, reports and contract documents
Assist with building analysis and design calculations
Liaise with clients, contractors and other design disciplines
Help manage project programmes to ensure on-time delivery
Ensure work complies with health and safety standards and best practice
Work closely with senior engineers and contribute to the wider teams technical delivery

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

HND, degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
A good understanding of BS7671
Familiarity with design software such as Amtech/Hevacomp/Dialux
Experience with AutoCAD and ideally Revit MEP
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting design
Awareness of structured wiring and security system design
Understanding of current legislation and sustainable building standards (Low/Zero Carbon Technologies, BREEAM)
