The Opportunity

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you'll deliver high-quality technical solutions on projects for both public and private sector clients across sectors such as education, healthcare, defence, pharmaceutical, and commercial. Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of electrical building services designs across a varied project portfolio
- Prepare designs, feasibility studies, reports and contract documents
- Assist with building analysis and design calculations
- Liaise with clients, contractors and other design disciplines
- Help manage project programmes to ensure on-time delivery
- Ensure work complies with health and safety standards and best practice
- Work closely with senior engineers and contribute to the wider team's technical delivery
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- HND, degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
- A good understanding of BS7671
- Familiarity with design software such as Amtech/Hevacomp/Dialux
- Experience with AutoCAD and ideally Revit MEP
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
- Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting design
- Awareness of structured wiring and security system design
- Understanding of current legislation and sustainable building standards (Low/Zero Carbon Technologies, BREEAM)
