Are you a curious and flexible Engineer/Technician with a background in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering? As part of a growing team, you would become a vital link between the field-based data capture teams and workshop-based technical systems teams. In this role:

  • You will be involved in maintenance, installations, troubleshooting and commissioning of high value electronic equipment and real time monitoring systems.
  • You will be trained in working with the specific systems within a supportive team environment.
  • Before equipment is deployed in the field, you will be involved in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), documenting results and resolving issues.
  • You will also diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults, coordinating repairs as needed.
  • Once ready, you will support mobilisation of survey equipment, including installation and mounting systems on site.
  • Projects are very customer focussed and you will communicate with customers as required during installation and commissioning activities, keeping them informed of progress and responding to requests in a timely fashion.

About you:

  • You will have previous experience with electronic equipment, instrumentation, or technical systems including troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
  • Any experience with survey equipment, sensors, or data acquisition systems in a field-based role would be highly advantageous.
  • You will have strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
  • Good communication skills and customer-facing experience are essential in this role.
  • You will be comfortable with extensive travel and working at client sites, and as such, you will need a full manual UK driving license.
