Meon is the UK and Ireland's leading specialist distributor of cold-applied road marking, road repair and reinstatement systems — helping the industry move away from hot-applied, carbon-intensive methods to safer, greener alternatives.

We work closely with product and plant manufacturers, driven by our in-house R&D team, to keep innovating for our customers across the UK, Ireland and increasingly Europe. Training is core to how we do this: we run structured, hands‑on programmes across our full product range.

Our Brands

  • Magma:Meon Magma (reinstatement and surface repair systems,)
  • Spectrum: Meon Spectrum(line marking systems, machines, and equipment).

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on trainer to teach and demonstrate our Magma and Spectrum systems to contractors across the UK and Ireland), with occasional trips into mainland Europe. (Roughly 75% Magma, 25% Spectrum).

You’ll deliver practical, memorable training using our evolving Training Academy framework — and help us build it further, shaping our training structure and certification pathway as the programme grows. This role is as much about developing the academy as delivering it.

This is a physically demanding role with extensive UK and Ireland travel, with the opportunity to develop our product training curriculum as we grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead hands-on product demonstrations and live installation trials, primarily across the Magma range, while also supporting our Spectrum team and clients.
  • Deliver training sessions tailored to client needs, nationwide.
  • Own Health & Safety on site, including RAMS.
  • Help shape and improve our Training Academy framework, working towards a formal certification structure.
  • Plan your schedule to maximise coverage and efficiency, report client feedback back to the office.
  • Keep your vehicle and equipment to a high standard.
  • Build your knowledge of relevant design standards, specifications, and guidance (including Chapter 8).
  • Be available for occasional evening and night-time sessions.

What We’re Looking For

  • A hands‑on trainer with a background in construction — construction products, construction training, or contracting. Civils or road construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable operating mechanical and application equipment to deliver live demonstrations.
  • A confident coach and communicator who can adapt delivery to different audiences.
  • Interest in, or experience of, building training programmes and certification frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of civil engineering basics and Chapter 8 traffic management guidance.
  • Organised and self‑directed, with the IT skills to run presentation equipment smoothly.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland.
  • Streetworks NRSWA knowledge would be beneficial
