We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team at Meon Infant and Junior School on a Fixed Term basis. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality teaching and learning support under the guidance of classroom teachers, helping to make learning engaging, accessible and inclusive for all pupils. We believe in creating a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where both pupils and staff feel valued and empowered. You will be joining a forward thinking team committed to inclusion, development and outstanding learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored support to pupils under the direction of the Classroom Teacher
- Coach and support pupils' learning by supervising and assisting them in 1:1 sessions and small groups
- Help pupils engage across a variety of learning activities and interventions
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure pupils have access to the resources they need to succeed
Qualifications
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Educated to a minimum Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Highly motivated, energetic and reflective with a passion for helping pupils and building positive relationships with both students and parents/carers
