Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, independent financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored financial plans and regular reviews.
- Clearly explain complex financial concepts and present compelling financial plans and client propositions.
- Achieve agreed new business and income targets, identifying opportunities within new and existing clients.
- Support business development initiatives and collaborate with Menzies LLP colleagues.
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations, internal policies, and CPD requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and high professional standards.
- Work closely with paraplanners, administrators, and internal teams to deliver exceptional client service.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in financial planning or wealth management within an IFA or advisory environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and explain complex financial information.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to build strong and trusted relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- A professional, confidential, and client-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Good IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Minimum - Diploma in regulated Financial Planning or equivalent, desirable Advanced Diploma or working towards it.
