We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Senior to join our Outsourced Accounting Services team in the Woking or London office. Play a key role in strengthening Menzies' SAP capability by delivering expert outsourced accounting and advisory services to a diverse client base. You'll support clients across the full finance function, from transactional accounting to management accounts and statutory reporting, while sharing your expertise, mentoring junior team members and helping our team continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality management accounts by preparing accurate and insightful management accounts while overseeing clients' day-to-day accounting activities.
- Support the full finance function by maintaining accounting records, preparing working papers and completing month-end adjustments, with a particular focus on supporting clients who use SAP.
- Prepare VAT returns by applying your technical knowledge to produce accurate VAT returns and ensure compliance with the latest legislation.
- Build trusted client relationships by developing strong relationships with clients, Partners and colleagues, providing a responsive, professional and advisory-led service.
- Support and develop others by sharing your knowledge through coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Work collaboratively across Menzies by partnering with colleagues across service lines to deliver seamless, joined-up solutions that add real value for our clients.
- Prepare statutory financial statements by supporting clients through the year-end process and ensuring deadlines are met.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
We're looking for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, has a passion for delivering high-quality accounting services, and is keen to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive team. If you're confident using SAP, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in producing accurate work, we'd love to hear from you.
- Qualifications: Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent). Working towards, or already qualified in, a Level 7 professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
- Skills & Knowledge: Experience using SAP, including processing transactions and ideally producing reports. Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data. A solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply technical knowledge to real client situations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- What You'll Bring: A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines. Confidence in taking ownership of your work and delivering excellent client service.
- Experience: At least 2 years' experience working within a finance or accounting environment. A minimum of 12 months' experience using SAP in a finance or accounting role.
- Travel: A willingness to travel occasionally to other Menzies offices and client sites when required.
