We have a great opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team in the Woking office. This is an opportunity to support the Finance team with internal accounting and reporting due to growing workload from recent mergers.

Key Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Preparation of management accounts for the Partner group
- Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
- Ownership of fixed asset software
- Bookkeeping support for subsidiary companies
- Assisting with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as required
- Providing holiday and absence cover within the wider finance team
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Ensuring financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained to a high standard
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or fully qualified. Other relevant finance qualifications will also be considered.
- Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of management accounting and financial reporting. Experience preparing management accounts and supporting month-end reporting processes. Good knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, and prepayments. Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data. Understanding of bookkeeping principles and general ledger maintenance.
- Experience: Previous experience within a finance or accounting role. Experience preparing management accounts and supporting month-end and year-end activities. Experience undertaking bookkeeping activities across multiple entities would be advantageous. Comfortable managing multiple priorities within a busy finance environment.
- Personal Attributes: We're looking for someone who has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in producing accurate work. Is organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively. Takes ownership of responsibilities and works independently when required. Has a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving. Builds strong working relationships and communicates confidently with colleagues across the business.
Travel: Occasional travel to other offices may be required, although this is expected to be infrequent.
